SANITATION POLICY

The North Carolina Tanning Rule Section .1417(d) states, the registrant shall ensure that the protective eyewear is properly sanitized before each use. It is your responsibility to determine what type of sanitizer you wish to use on your eyewear.

 However, Radiation Protection does not enforce any regulations concerning sanitation of tanning units. Any questions concerning the sanitation of tanning units should be directed to your distributing or service company. Our agency does not and will not promote any one product or business over another. We are responsible for radiation protection and have made the policy decision to defer to others all issues relating to sanitation.
