There are two forms, published by the CRCPD, one for scrap metal in the recycling stream and one for municipal waste, which are necessary if you intend on sending the radioactive materials back to whoever originated the shipment to you without your having to comply with the DOT regulations controlling the shipping or radioactive material. You should download the form and instructions that apply to you and use the agency's assistance while you fill them out. You are required to have agency approval before transporting the material back to whoever sent it to you.
